Does WP Mage Still Work After Panda Updates?
Does WP Mage Still Work After Google’s Panda & Other Updates?
The Short Answer is YES! ….BUT certain steps must be taken to ensure indexing.
I began a new WP Mage blog shortly after the Google Panda update, and within 2 weeks, more than 10,000 posts had been indexed by Google. My traffic to those pages is increasing on a daily basis. Most of those posts are reached by user’s search terms mostly generating traffic from page 1 or page 2 of Google’s search results.
Many of them are the #1 search result listing !!!!!
I am thrilled at the continued results that WP Mage is producing!
That translates as such: TRAFFIC = MONEY
My other sites don’t seem to have lost any ground overall. Some are up & some are down, but that’s going to happen. This is a numbers game after-all.
Post you comments below to share your experiences with the Google updates.
I noticed we must check the less content or Check DB for empty posts at WPmage Content options oftentimes, usually there’s zero content post created and Google will punish it specially if we put Adsense on it.
Hi rivermaya,
That’s an excellent point! Isn’t it great that WP Mage has provisions to do just that? In your Content Mage settings, you can indicate how many words that you’d like to be considered “zero content”. As also stated on the Content Mage settings page, you can:
Check DB for empty posts
‘When a post is “unpacked” Content Mage will automatically detect whether or not it could obtain content. If not, the Post is set to “Draft” status so that it can be checked later. To check existing published posts for zero content, click the button below. This will scan the database for published posts, and if any are found to have no text content, they will be set to “Draft”. A post with only an image and/or youtube video is also considered a zero content post.’
Gotta love it!
This update is kind of a source of anxiety for people with legit sites but hopefully this update will just clean out the crap from the web
