Does WP Mage Still Work After Google’s Panda & Other Updates?

The Short Answer is YES! ….BUT certain steps must be taken to ensure indexing.

I began a new WP Mage blog shortly after the Google Panda update, and within 2 weeks, more than 10,000 posts had been indexed by Google. My traffic to those pages is increasing on a daily basis. Most of those posts are reached by user’s search terms mostly generating traffic from page 1 or page 2 of Google’s search results.

Many of them are the #1 search result listing !!!!!

I am thrilled at the continued results that WP Mage is producing!

That translates as such: TRAFFIC = MONEY

WP Mage Software Update February 2011

Greg Jacobs announced today that latest software version of WP MAGE – CP MAGE 1.7.1 has been released. The updated installer now uses WordPress 3.0.5.

Greg’s ingenious programmer, Hodge, indicated that he’ll not look into integrating WP3.1 until 3.1.2 is released, so you’ll want to hold off on the WordPress 3.1 updates until Hodge works his magic.

Other important additions, features, and fixes include Product Caching for Affiliate Mage, which means that when they are activated, the products from affiliate sources will be cached for however many hours you’ve specified. This significantly improves your site’s performance, and reduces page load times.

Content Mage now has a “Kill Translator” toggle, which can be used to disable translation site-wide, if the translator is causing site load issues. Finally, it’s now possible to install domains with the same name, but different TLD (Top Level Domain) extension. For example, you can install mydomain.com, mydomain.net, mydomain.info, etc. within the same CPMage installation.

WP Mage Available Again in 2011?

I contacted Greg Jacobs today and it looks as though WP Mage will not be available to NEW Customers until sometime in 2011.

For those of you who were lucky enough to buy WPMage before the server crash, it will be business as usual. You can still build WPMage sites and will still have access to the WP Mage Forums and other functions when you login to your account.

Unfortunately, for those of you who missed the opportunity to purchase WPMAGE, you will need to wait until it becomes available again.
