WP Mage Software Update February 2011

Greg Jacobs announced today that latest software version of WP MAGE – CP MAGE 1.7.1 has been released. The updated installer now uses WordPress 3.0.5.

Greg’s ingenious programmer, Hodge, indicated that he’ll not look into integrating WP3.1 until 3.1.2 is released, so you’ll want to hold off on the WordPress 3.1 updates until Hodge works his magic.

Other important additions, features, and fixes include Product Caching for Affiliate Mage, which means that when they are activated, the products from affiliate sources will be cached for however many hours you’ve specified. This significantly improves your site’s performance, and reduces page load times.

Content Mage now has a “Kill Translator” toggle, which can be used to disable translation site-wide, if the translator is causing site load issues. Finally, it’s now possible to install domains with the same name, but different TLD (Top Level Domain) extension. For example, you can install mydomain.com, mydomain.net, mydomain.info, etc. within the same CPMage installation.

It’s quite apparent to me that Greg Jacobs and his team have put a huge amount of effort and resources into creating this WordPress Mage system. For those of you who haven’t had the opportunity, I believe that the 60 day free trial to Adept Mage has just reopened.

General WP Mage Overview

WordPress Mage was created by a guy named Greg Jacobs and is actually a collection of different components or tools designed to help you market thousands of different products on the internet. To jump right in, you can sign up to limited access with the free Adept Mage membership.

This membership is free for 60 days and allows you to access many of the tools, which quite frankly, are very powerful on their own. There are many training videos & PDF files you can access at no cost during that time. If you stay in the program beyond 60 days, they do charge a small monthly membership fee. On this wpmage site, you’ll first see an introduction video & a way to get a free copy of the WordPress Mage Blueprint & access to at least 7 different training videos.

Once inside, you will find a number of options available.

This is where you can select from a variety of available tools. These tools allow you to do many different things and the page has links to PDF files, downloads, videos and additional resources that are claimed to have been designed to help us make money online.

Across the top there are buttons that currently lead you to five major segments of this system.

Domain Mage is a dynamic page showing up to 100,000 current available expiring $5 “buy now” domain names for sale. You can even choose an option to view and bid on live domain name auctions.  There is also a lot of very important info for each name like page rank, back links, search engine indexed pages, etc., which I think is priceless to have all in one place. This information is pulled from GoDaddy.

Keywords Mage is a tool that helps you build lists of word combinations so you can build huge sites with related posts. These are mainly set up for ebay product searches but I believe more capabilities are being added even as I write this blog post.

Articles Mage is a tool that gives you access to thousands of articles, in more than 15 categories, which you may use for your own marketing purposes.

Index Mage is a tool where you enter your website address into a field, and then click a button to get your url indexed in search engines quicker by automatically adding your site to the links that will be provided to you. Very impressive…and free for 60 days!

Mage Forums is a growing community of Mages, Master Mages and even Greg Jacobs himself. The forums posts are growing quickly and seem to contain some very valuable information.

There is more to the entire system and the best place to start after reading this review is the probably the training videos. They will give much more insight as to what WorpdPress Mage is capable of.

First of all, I’d like to thank you for visiting my WP Mage Review blog, where as I had mentioned in my “About” page, my investments in the internet marketing arena had been very positive until recent months where more and more competitors have jumped on the bandwagon.

I’d begun to experience “less than desirable” results in my affiliate accounts and realized that I needed to find better way to do things.

You see, I’d realized that the true problem was that there are so many possibilities to make money online, which require tools & skills, but most of the IM products out there are just that..Products, just made to be sold, with limited or no support whatsoever.

I had tried many of these products, but had very limited success with most of them & some were just garbage altogether. These things aren’t free & this was contributing to lower than normal profits. I knew that there had to be a better way.

That brings us to why we are here…to find an automated software solution to help us duplicate successful projects on a VERY LARGE SCALE!

Then I found a product called WordPress Mage (also known as wpmage or wp mage). It got my attention, so I will be reviewing it here. Stay tuned for an in depth WpMage Review!
